A great place to rest before an early flight from Gatwick. There's a local bus to Gatwick or a hoppa bus. We parked and used APH long stay parking. Great deal with hotel included in price. You have to pay £15 for overnight parking at the hotel though. Hotel has compact, modern rooms. Comfy. Noise proof rooms. Nice restaurant and bar, with good specials each day. We got pizza and a pint for £17 I think. I would stay again. The APH parking was faultless. Very efficient check in!

We paid for a family room for 3 and we were informed the 3rd bed is not suitable for a child over 12. This is not stated on the website. We were then charged £30 for an upgrade with no choice to take it!

Even though the hotel was conveniently situated for Gatwick , I felt the rooms lacked any personality or charm. They were however clean . The food on offer was expensive but the worst thing about the hotel and the main reason why I wouldn't recommend it was that the parking was horrendous. The car park was an undercover garage and was dimly lit and the spaces ridiculously small , anything above a Fiesta sized car would have struggled.

easy access to APH for Gatwick parking, good rooms and the hotel isnicely presented. The amount of parking at Ibis was very small and we were surprised to be charged an extra £15 for using it. The staff may have been new but we felt that there was a lack of knowledge, efficiency and experience. It also seemed unprepared to have a curry night on a Thursday (only one day each week) and then have 1 out of 3 curries not available.

Directions

Leave the M23 at junction 10 and take the A2011
At the first roundabout go straight on, staying on the A2011
At the second roundabout take the last exit onto the A23 towards the airport
After about a mile and a half, go straight on at the roundabout onto the dual carriageway
You will see the hotel on your right. You'll need to go right round the next roundabout and come back along the dual carriageway to get to it.
